About Hepatitis B:
Hepatitis B is a “Silent Killer” since careers usually don’t show any symptoms and
would be victims of liver cancer years later there is no 100% cure for this diseases, this is 100
times more than AIDS and kills more people in one day in India than AIDS does in 1 year.
It can spreas through contact with infected blood, body secrections, cuts,
wounds, sharing of infected instruments / combs / razor / toothbrushes / nail cutters. Body
contact during sports, unsafe surgical practices. Medical/ Para medical and hostelers are risk. It
has not proper cure once infected an it can be prevented through vaccination, only 3
doses(Over a 3 months period) Are needed for full protection.

This disease is most commonly spread by exposure to infected
bodily fluids.
Symptoms are variable and include yellowing of the eyes, abdominal pain
and dark urine. Some people, particularly children, don't experience any
symptoms. In chronic cases, liver failure, cancer or scarring can occur.
The condition often clears up on its own. Chronic cases
require medication and possibly a liver transplant.

Symptoms

Can have no symptoms, but people may experience:
Pain areas: in the abdomen
Pain types: can be mild

Skin: web of swollen blood vessels in the skin or yellow skin and eyes
Also common: dark urine, itching, or swelling
About Typhoid:
Typhoid fever is a potentially life threatening illness that is caused
by salmonella bacteria. Typhoid fever is one of the major causes of food & waterborne
diseases. Anyone can get typhoid fever if they drink water or heat food contaminated with the
bacteria. Highest incidence of typhoid fever is 5-39 years and it may occur at any age. The
minimum time to recover from typhoid fever completely 4 to 5 weeks. If school going children
are infected, they may lose the academic year also.
The signs and symptoms of typhoid fever are constant fever upto
104 degrees (fever increases and decreases) diarrhea constipation, stomach pain, headache,
malaise (feeling sick) non-productive cough, slow hear rate(bradycardia), if no diagnosed and
treated earlier. Every year nearly 20% of total Typhoid victims is dying. We have Vaccine against
Typhoid and we can prevent it successfully by vaccination.
